I watched as my sister fought her final battle.She fought like a cornered wildcat or should I say a cornered wolf.I wanted to help my sister.I wanted so desperatly to jump into the fight and protect my sister from her adversary,to stop this all from happening.It took every bit of will power I had to do as my sister requested and stay on the side lines.
I didn't want to sit back and watch,I wanted to fight with my twin.After all we always did everything together.Even fight.I stared at the ground trying to decide if it would be wiser to do as my sister told me or to just screw it all and save her.It took me all of five seconds to decide,that I would save my twin.I looked up,ready to jump into the battle and help my sister.But by then it was to late.
Chase Young was sitting on top of my sister,pinning her down.I tried to run to my sister but someone held me back.I think it was Blackhawk, but I'm not sure.I wasn't really paying attention.I was screaming and clawing at the hands keeping me from my sister.Chase's fist shot forward.A direct hit.The hands released me and I rushed forward,my comrades at my heels.
I reached my sister first.I fell to my knees beside her.She was white and she wasn't breathing.I tried to think of something I could do,anything that would help her.I couldn't think of anything that would bring her back.By now my comrades had crowded around me and my sister.I fought back the tears that threatened to overflow.I couldn't hold them back .I started to sob.I had just lost my other half...my best friend...my twin.You promised me...you promised not to leave me.We were supposed to be together forever.Remember sis...Artimis...sis.You promised!I clutched my sister's body to my chest still sobbing brokenly.I didn't care what anyone else thought.
That was a week ago.Now I'm standing infront of my sister's coffin looking down at her pale face.I'm crying again,but I can't help it.As I look at my twin the tears streaming down my face,I whisper two final words to her "You promised."
